I want to join PBON today! What do I need to do?

Please go to www.pbon.ca and click membership to start your membership application process through our fast, safe and secure online system. Steps are provided to assist you in becoming a member of PBON.

What documentation is required at the time of the membership application?

When you are completing your membership application, you will need to provide a copy of any documentation (PDF or JPEG only) indicating your highest level of education or professional degree obtained from a recognized academic institution. It must include:


  • Your full name
  • Your program of study
  • The year your degree was conferred

If you are a business owner, we need the articles of incorporation and details on the nature of business, preferably a copy of your business license.

How long does it take to become a member of PBON?

Our compliance department will review your application once completed and you will receive a confirmation email within 48hrs.

Do I need to pay any fees for my membership and how often?

Yes memberships must be renewed annually. Membership fees are found on the website but Individual memberships fee is $50/annum and corporate membership fee is $500/annum.

If I forgot to pay for my renewal fee what will happen?

If you do not pay the annual membership fee, then you are no longer a member. Your membership will discontinue and if you want to reactivate your membership go to PBON website and pay $25 or $500 depending on the membership type, submit your information and activate your membership.

How do I change my contact information with PBON?

Your contact information can be changed at the time of your membership renewal or by logging into your account in the Membership Profile in the Members Only Area page where you make the appropriate changes

How long is my PBON Membership valid?

The PBON membership is valid for one year till you renew the membership.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you may cancel your membership at any time. However, please note that PBON Membership fees are 100% non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be pro-rated

Can I retrieve my PBON Renewal Invoice or my receipt online?

Yes, you can find your receipts in the Members Only Area within the Membership Profile.

I did not receive my Membership Renewal Notice. What should I do?

You can renew your membership for the current year on the Renew Now webpage or by logging into the membership renewal link where you will required to enter your username and password.
