PBON Commemorates the Grand Opening of TMU’s School of Medicine

Toronto, Ontario (September 3, 2025) — The Professional Business Owners Network (PBON) was honored to join the celebration of a landmark occasion—the official opening of the Toronto Metropolitan University School of Medicine in Brampton. This monumental event marks the first new medical school to open in the Greater Toronto Area in over a century  

 

Joined by TMU leadership, government dignitaries, and esteemed community stakeholders, PBON was proud to present a $5,000 donation in support of this pioneering institution. Our presence reflected both our commitment to cultivating inclusive healthcare solutions and our support for innovative medical education serving underserved communities.

TMU’s School of Medicine aims to address the critical shortage of family doctors, delivering community-engaged education and primary care throughout Ontario In aligning with these goals, PBON reaffirms its dedication to meaningful social impact and investment in initiatives that foster long-term well-being.
