PBON Joins TMU’s School of Medicine Open House & BBQ

On Friday, September 12, 2025, the Professional Business Owners Network (PBON) was proud to support and attend the Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) School of Medicine Open House & BBQ in Brampton. Represented by Meni Mancini and Balkaran Dhillon, PBON sponsored the event and engaged directly with faculty, students, and community members in a day of celebration, connection, and inspiration.

Why this event matters

• The afternoon featured an outdoor BBQ, building tours every 30 minutes, and opportunities to explore TMU’s cutting-edge medical facilities—giving guests a first-hand look at where tomorrow’s healthcare leaders will learn and grow.


• Attendees included TMU staff and faculty, current and prospective students, local residents, and community leaders—welcoming the new School of Medicine into the neighbourhood.


• The atmosphere was warm, collaborative, and forward-looking, with conversations centered on how the school will strengthen healthcare access and medical education in Ontario.
